How to Translate Apple TV+ Subtitles into Any Language

Step-by-Step: Translating Apple TV+ Subtitles

Step 1 — Install Sublo

Go to subloapp.com and click Get Sublo. This takes you to the Chrome Web Store. Click Add to Chrome, then confirm with Add extension. The Sublo icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar in seconds.

Step 2 — Open Apple TV+ in Chrome

Navigate to tv.apple.com and start playing any show or film. Sublo activates automatically on Apple TV+ — you don't need to do anything extra on the page itself.

Step 3 — Enable Apple TV+'s Subtitles Briefly

Click the speech bubble icon on the Apple TV+ player (bottom-right of the video) and choose a subtitle language — English works best as the source for the most accurate translations. Leave the subtitles on for a few seconds while Sublo loads the subtitle stream in the background. You can turn them off immediately after; Sublo's overlay will take over.

Step 4 — Open Sublo and Pick Your Language

Click the Sublo icon in your Chrome toolbar. A panel opens with a language dropdown. Choose your target language from 30+ options — Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Russian, and many more. Step 5 — Turn Translation On

Toggle translation to ON in the Sublo panel. Translated subtitles appear on screen within a second or two, perfectly timed to the dialogue. No lag, no drift.

Step 6 (Optional) — Enable Dual Subtitle Mode

Want to see both the original and your language simultaneously? Sublo's dual subtitle mode stacks two tracks on screen at once — original on top, translation below.
